There are six Hare designs. Some have more swirls than others. Some have ear details and an eye. The tails, ears and paws differ. I'll include small versions with the details, but know they won't be distinct.

Large are created on 1/4x1/2 and will be slightly less.
Medium are created on 1/4x3/8 and will be slightly less.
Small are currently created on 1/4x1/4 but am creating them on 3/16x1/4.
International peeps: 1/2 is about 12 millimeters. 3/8 is about 9 millimeters. 1/4 is about 6 millimeters. (I've learned to not write the abbreviation because the data world thinks I'm referring to something else.)

For finer details of recessed designs, try putting a piece of paper between the metal and your block. Not enough? Fold the paper. For some, thicker backings can help, like cardstock or leather.

For raised designs, be careful to not use too thick a backing, so the edges don't impress. Raised designs are generally easier to stamp.

The surface you strike upon MUST not bounce. Consider finding a stump and investing in a large block or anvil.

If you're used to using a 1# hammer, this will only work with the smaller stamps. For larger stamp surface, you'll need more force to drive the stamp into the metal. It's not uncommon to use a 2#-4# sledgehammer. Consider buying Brass if you don't already own one. They're more gentle on the stamps.

Where to start… Outstanding product, very high quality, beautifully made and finished. Excellent choice of unusual, hard to find designs-these are beautifully imagined pieces, showing the maker’s care, imagination, thought and talent. Meesh herself could not be lovelier; thoughtful, helpful and with excellent communication. I received a refund on postage that I didn’t even realise was due. Impressive to say that we’re separated by a continent and an ocean! Any downside…? One. There’s so much fabulous choice, it’s incredibly hard to narrow down your choices? How did I deal with this? I ordered a lot of stamps! Regrets? None; after writing this, I’ll be browsing for more. Please support his fabulous, talented artist.
